A Real Basket Case.

A tisket, a tasket, that’s one ginormous basket! I thought for sure I’d stumbled upon a group of giants having a picnic. But no, it turns out it’s actually an office building.
Back in the 1990s, Dave Longaberger decided he wanted his own “duck” for the basket company he started. He hired a team of architects, and soon his dream was woven into the World’s Largest Picnic Basket.
So how big is it? The building is seven stories tall, and each floor is a different size. The bottom is the smallest, and they progressively get larger as you go up. The handles each weigh 75 tons.
Don’t kid yourself, though—everyone works hard here, and the job’s not a picnic!
